FTI is a full-scale manufacturing and fabrication operation based in San Diego, California, designing and building projects for clients across the globe. The company has built lasting partnerships with Fortune 500 firms in industries such as the Department of Defense, Shipbuilding, Utilities, and Government Agencies. Their reach also extends internationally, collaborating with both pioneering innovators and established legacy brands to shape the future with precision.
For this project, I led the creative direction and brought their story to life through web design, copywriting, photography, and videography. A key challenge was translating FTI’s technical capabilities into a clear, engaging digital experience. To achieve this, I partnered with an engineer to develop complex, custom-coded pages, such as the Department Capabilities section, where we used advanced structures like “repeaters in repeaters” to handle dense technical content. We also refined the responsive design to ensure the site performed seamlessly across all devices.
The result was a website that not only communicates FTI’s scale and expertise but also positions them as a global leader with a modern, compelling digital presence.
